Supportive Services Checklist

The optional AWARDS Supportive Services Checklist functionality enables staff to document multiple services provided to a client on a single date without requiring entry of a progress note or contacts log record.  This functionality takes the place of the basic Contacts Log feature and is located under the button for that feature in the Services - Individual module.

Required Permissions

Because the Supportive Services Checklist feature is optional, it is not automatically available in all databases.  When requested, it is turned on behind-the-scenes in AWARDS on a program-by-program basis by Foothold Technology.  (Contact the Help Desk to make this functionality available in your AWARDS database in place of the basic Contacts Log.)  In order to use this feature once it has been turned on, staff must have the following permissions:

Program Chart Access
Display Any Chart Records Buttons
Display Chart Records Services - Individual Button

  NOTE: Permissions are assigned using the Permissions Maintenance feature.  If you do not have access to that feature and need the permission listed here, please contact your supervisor or your local Help Desk for assistance.

Additionally, though users can view supportive services checklist records written by others, you can only update and delete records for contacts you yourself entered.  An exception is made for users with the "Surrogate Data Entry - Contacts Log" permission.
