Contacts Log / Supportive Services Checklist

The Services  - Individual module's Contacts Log feature is used to enter and update records of consumer contact, as well as to view contact reports.  There are two contacts log formats available for use within AWARDS:

  Basic Contacts Log - Used to record a single service per contact via entry of a contacts log record.  The default contacts log functionality.

  Supportive Services Checklist - Used to record one or more services per contact without requiring entry of a contacts log record or progress note.

Please verify the type of contacts log functionality used at your agency to make sure you refer to the appropriate instructions.

Required Permissions

Use of the Contacts Log / Supportive Services Checklist feature requires the following permissions:

Program Chart Access
Display Any Chart Records Buttons
Display Chart Records Services - Individual Button

  NOTE: Permissions are assigned using the Permissions Maintenance feature.  If you do not have access to that feature and need the permission listed here, please contact your supervisor or your local Help Desk for assistance.

Additionally, though you can view contacts recorded by others using report mode, you can only update and delete contacts log/supportive services checklist records you yourself entered.  An exception is made for users with the "Surrogate Data Entry - Contacts Log" permission.
