The Employment module Progress Notes feature is an optional database enhancement used to write and maintain narrative documentation of individual employment-related contacts between consumers and agency staff through the entering, updating, and deleting of progress notes. This feature is also used to view read-only progress note reports.
NOTE: A full version of the Progress Notes feature (that can record services other than those that are employment-related) is accessible from within the Services - Individual module. For more information, click here.
Because the Progress Notes (Employment) feature is optional, it is not automatically available in all AWARDS databases. When requested (by contacting the Help Desk), it is turned on behind-the-scenes in AWARDS and is available to users with the following permissions:
Program Chart Access
Display Any Chart Records Buttons
Display Chart Records Employment Button
NOTE: Permissions are assigned using the Permissions Maintenance feature. If you do not have access to that feature and need a permission listed here, please contact your supervisor or your local Help Desk for assistance.
