The AWARDS Discharge module is used to discharge consumers from agency programs, as well as to enter, maintain, and review discharge-related records.
Required Permissions 
The Discharge module is available to users with the following permissions:
Display Any Chart Records Buttons
Display Chart Records Discharge Button
Additional permissions required to use the individual features within the Discharge module are discussed in detail in the Online Help sections for each of those features.
NOTE: Permissions are assigned using the Permissions Maintenance feature. If you do not have access to that feature and need the permission listed here, please contact your supervisor or your local Help Desk for assistance.
Module Features 
The Discharge module is comprised of the following features. Click a link below to access the Online Help pages for the corresponding feature.
FOLLOW UP NOTES - Learn to write and work with progress notes for discharged consumers.
PRE-DISCHARGE STATUS - Learn to enter and update pre-discharge status information and to view pre-discharge status reports.
PROCESS DISCHARGE - Learn to process consumer discharges and update discharge records, as well as to view/sign individual discharge records in report mode.
REFERRALS OUT - Learn to enter and update consumer service referrals.
Additional Discharge Reports 
The following reports, while not located within the Discharge module itself, can be useful tools for analyzing discharge-related information.
E-Signable Records ReportBuilder - Used to generate reports of records set up with e-signatures, showing which have been signed, which still need signing, and more.
OASAS Reports (NY) - Accessible from the Fiscal and Reports modules. Used to generate user-customized and built-in OASAS data reports.

Documenting After Discharge (33 min) * - December 2016
Learn different ways users can document information post-discharge with a wide variety of AWARDS features, including use of roster archives, post-discharge notes, follow-up notes, group notes, correcting service coordinators, charting timetable, backdating discharges, readmitting clients that were previously discharged, and undoing discharges.
