Internal Training Assistance Program

The Internal Training Assistance Program is designed to empower our clients in their pursuit of maximum efficiency with respect to AWARDS by helping agency training and implementation teams assess and improve their internal AWARDS training content and process.

Before an agency's internally-run training, Foothold training staff will offer brief feedback on the training plan or agenda, and will provide some basic concepts about conducting trainings in general.  Foothold staff will then observe a half-day AWARDS training session given by the agency's internal training team.  After the training, Foothold staff will provide a concise written evaluation on the effectiveness and efficiency of the training, along with a brief list of things the agency's trainer(s) can do in the future to improve the trainings.  Foothold staff will also be available for one phone call to discuss the evaluation.

The agency is required to provide a training agenda which may be developed in conjunction with your Foothold Customer Success & Advocacy team representative.

The BillingBuilder is a powerful AWARDS feature that enables agencies to configure billing files for dozens of payers in addition to the direct link to Medicaid and Medicare already built into the application.  The cost of this feature varies depending on the level of service required at your agency, and the initial training is included in the pricing.  Additional training can also be purchased as needed.

Once configuration of the BillingBuilder is complete, your agency's clinical and programmatic data flows seamlessly from AWARDS electronic charts into the proper billing structure, and from there the module can be used to create claims to be paid.  The AWARDS BillingBuilder training course covers each step in the configuration process so that you can take advantage of all that the BillingBuilder has to offer.
