Login Maintenance

AWARDS user logins are comprised of two components - Login ID/Password and User Group.

  Login ID and Password - Each staff member is given a login ID and password.  These two pieces of information are entered by the staff member to access the AWARDS application.  Logins can also be assigned to consumers for limited access to AWARDS.

  User Group - Each staff member is assigned to a user group.  This user group assignment can work in combination with the user's permissions to determine which modules and features are available to him or her throughout the system.

The System Setup module Login Maintenance feature is used to work with these login components; specifically, to create user logins, update user group assignments, change user passwords, and more.

Required Permissions

Unless you are a member of the "Executive Officer" and "System Administrator" user group, you must have at least ONE of the following permissions to use the Login Maintenance feature:

Display Executive Administration Buttons
Permissions Data Entry
Permissions Data Entry for All Staff and Layers

Additional permissions required to use the individual features within the Login Maintenance are discussed in detail in the Online Help sections for each of those features.

  NOTE: Permissions are assigned using the Permissions Maintenance feature.  If you do not have access to that feature and need the permission listed here, please contact your supervisor or your local Help Desk for assistance.

Login Maintenance Features

AUDIT TRAIL REPORTBUILDER - Learn to generate customized reports of audit information for a selected date range and, if needed, worker and/or client.

BLOCK LOGIN ACCESS - Learn to immediately remove a user's login access to AWARDS without terminating his/her login entirely.

CREATE NEW LOGIN - Learn to create a new user login for a staff member or consumer, as well as to change existing login IDs.

PASSWORD RESET - Learn to reset the password for yourself or others (when applicable).

RESTRICTED CENSUS ACCESS - Learn to limit worker access to specific client records.

UPDATE USER GROUP - Learn to update user group assignments for users with AWARDS logins.
