Scheduling a Job Interview

To schedule a job interview, complete the following steps from the Schedule Calendar Event page displayed after clicking a date on the Calendar: 

  TIP: In order to schedule job interviews, you must have the following permissions:

Display Any Chart Records Buttons
Display Chart Records Employment Button

    1. Click the Select radio button next to "Job Interview" in the Event Type table.
    2. Click CONTINUE.  The Job Interview Menu page is displayed.

    1. Click the Consumer drop-down arrow and select the consumer for whom the job interview is to be scheduled.
    2. The date of the interview must fall within the date range in the From and To fields on this page.  By default this date range is limited to the date you clicked on in the Calendar.  Make changes to the default date range as necessary by typing in new dates (using mm/dd/yyyy format), or by selecting dates using the available date picker to the right of each field.
    3. Click CONTINUE.  The Job Interview Data Entry page is displayed.

    1. Click the radio button next to "Add new job interview" and click the corresponding drop-down arrow to select the employer the interview is being conducted with.

  TIP: The employers available for selection here are those previously entered using the Employers component of the Employment module Jobs feature.  If the appropriate employer is not listed, leave the selection option at its default value - "Add new Employer."

    1. Click CONTINUE.  The Add a Job Interview page is displayed.

  NOTE: The contents of this page vary based on the employer selection on the previous page. If "Add new Employer" was selected, this page includes a section for entering employer and position information. If an existing employer was selected, the employer/position information is not included.

    1. Configure the fields and options on this page as necessary.  For more information on those fields/options, click here.
    2. Click CONTINUE.  The updated Job Interview Data Entry page is displayed.
    3. Click Calendar to return to the Calendar where your newly scheduled job interview is now displayed.

  TIP: In some cases you may need to adjust your current Calendar settings before your new appointment/event will be included in the Calendar display.

The process of scheduling a job interview is now complete.

  TIP: Job interview records can also be entered and updated using the Job Interviews component of the Employment module Jobs feature.
