Certified Entitlements

The Entitlements module Certified Entitlements feature is used to enter, update, and delete records for each of the five AWARDS-recognized certified entitlement types.  Corresponding reports generated from data entered in this feature are accessible from the Reports module.

The five recognized entitlement types are:

Income-Generating Entitlements - Certified entitlements that generate income for the client, and for which the agency may or may not be the payee; for example, social security income or wages.

Insurance / Subsidized Payments Information - Certified entitlements that do not generate direct income for the client, but from which financial benefits may be derived; for example, Medicaid or Medicare.

Insurance Authorizations - Once an insurance record has been entered for a client, an "Insurance Authorizations" entitlement type is available for entry (if this optional feature has been turned on for the selected program).  For information on working with Insurance Authorization information, see the Insurance Authorizations instruction sheet.

Bank Account Information - Certified entitlements in the form of client bank accounts to which the agency may or may not have access.

Miscellaneous Entitlements / Eligibilities / Subsidies - Certified entitlements that do not fit in any of the other four certified entitlement types; for example, SRO rent.
