Viewing an Agency File Cabinet Document

All AWARDS users can download and view Agency File Cabinet documents; to do so, complete the following steps: from the AWARDS Home screen:

    1. Click Administration from the left-hand menu bar, and then click Agency File CabinetThe Agency File Cabinet fly-out menu is displayed.
    2. Attached documents appear as links on the fly-out menu, beneath the option to Attach/Edit a Document (if you have the permission for doing so).  Click the link for the document to be downloaded and viewed.
    3. A PHI Download Alert is displayed, reminding you of your obligation to properly handle any confidential data and/or protected health information (PHI) that may be found within the File Cabinet document in accordance with related government regulations and agency policies.  After reading the alert, click Download to acknowledge it and proceed with downloading the document to your machine, or click Cancel to return to the previous page.
    4. Once Download has been clicked the selected document is downloaded to your device.
    5. Navigate to the downloads folder on your device and locate the document.  From there, open and view the document as needed.

  NOTE: If changes are made to a document once it has been opened, and the updated document is saved on your device, the updates made will NOT be reflected in AWARDS.  If it is necessary to have the changed document replace what is currently in AWARDS, follow the Editing an Agency File Cabinet Document procedure and upload the updated file in place of the original version.

The process of downloading and viewing an attached document is now complete.
