Education / Training Facilities data entry takes place in the following sections:
Below is an alphabetical list of the fields and options located on each of these sections. To jump directly to the information for a specific field or option, press <Ctrl+F> to access your browser's search field and enter the name of the field/option in question.
NOTE: A gear icon next to a field or option in this list indicates that it is either optional (and therefore not automatically available in all AWARDS databases), or that some aspect of it (for example drop-down selection lists) is configurable. To request adjustments to these configurable items, please contact the Help Desk for assistance.
Address / Address 2 / City / State / Zip
In these fields, type or make changes to the facility's address, including street address, city, state abbreviation, and zip code.
Degree Types Offered
Click the checkbox next to each degree type offered at this facility. The checklist options are configurable upon request, with default values of "Associate's," "Bachelor's," "Doctorate," "Certificate," and "Other" with a corresponding Specified Other text box.
In this field, type or make changes to the facility's email address.
Facility Name
In this field, type or make changes to the name of the facility. This is a required field, and will be the record's main identifier on the index page.
Facility Type
Click this drop-down arrow and select the facility type. The selection options are configurable upon request, with default values of "High School," "Community College," "Trade School," "Culinary Institute," and "University."
Fax
In this field, type or make changes to the facility's fax number.
Phone
In this field, type or make changes to the facility's phone number, followed by an extension (if applicable).
School Code
In this field, type or make changes the the facility's school code.
TIP: If you do not currently see this field and would like to request that it be turned on, please contact the Help Desk for assistance.
Status
Click this drop-down and select the facility's status. Available options are:
Active - The default value. When selected, the facility is available for assignment to clients under Employment > Education/Training > Enrollments.
Inactive - When selected, the facility is hidden and unavailable for assignment to clients under Employment > Education/Training > Enrollments; however, it continues to be shown in related reports if the facility was previously assigned to a client's record.
Tuition
Click this drop-down arrow and select the facility's tuition type. The selection options are configurable upon request, with default values of "Free," "Private," and "Public."

In this field, type or make changes to the facility contact's email address.
Fax
In this field, type or make changes to the facility contact's fax number, followed by an extension (if applicable).
First Name, Last Name
In these fields, type or make changes to the facility contact's first and last names. This will be the record's main identifier on the Contacts index. First Name and Last Name are required fields for facility contact records.
Job Title
In this field, type or make changes to the facility contact's job title.
Phone
In this field, type or make changes to the facility contact's phone number, followed by an extension (if applicable).

Program Name
In this field, type or make changes to the program being offered at the facility. This will be the record's main identifier on the index page. Program Name is a required field for facility program records.
