The Merge Duplicate Sources component of the Intake/Admission module is used to clean up the referral source agency list used when working with referral records. Records on the source list are generate both when workers create referral records for new consumers in the Intake/Admission module, and also when workers refer consumers using Service Referrals in the Services module.  Duplicates are created when workers do not carefully review the existing sources list before adding a new referral source agency.

Required Permissions

The Merge Duplicate Sources feature is available to users with the following permissions:

• Data Entry / Access - You must have the "Display Any Chart Records Buttons" and "Display Chart Records Intake/Admission Button" data entry/access permissions.  The "Referrals Data Entry" permission is also required.
• Exception Overrides - You must have the "Merge Duplicate Consumers/Sources" exception override permission.
