The AWARDS MedSupport feature (provided by CaraSolva) is an add-on service that allows agencies to organize and automate repeatable medical functions, such as medication administration, vital sign readings, and designated tasks.  When subscribed to, this feature is accessible from the Medical fly-out menu for users with permission, allowing for single sign-on access. For more information on this powerful add-on tool, please refer to the resources provided below.

Required Permissions

Because the MedSupport feature is an optional add-on service available by subscription, it is not automatically available in all databases, nor is it automatically available for all users when an agency subscribes to it.  In subscribing agencies, access must be assigned to individual users and requires the following permissions: 

Program Chart Access 
Display Any Chart Records Buttons 
Display Chart Records Medical Button 
MedSupport Data Entry 

  NOTE: Permissions are assigned using the Permissions Maintenance feature.  If you do not have access to that feature and need a permission listed here, please contact your supervisor or your local Help Desk for assistance.

Service Agreements

As noted above, MedSupport is an optional add-on service available for subscription as a part of AWARDS.  If you are interested in learning more about the MedSupport service and/or you would like to proceed with signing up for it, please download and complete the agreement below, and then submit it to your Foothold Customer Success & Advocacy team  representative.
