The Delete Consumer component of the Intake/Admission module is used to delete all AWARDS records for a selected consumer. It is important to note that this feature was designed to be used for the removal of consumers entered into the system for training or testing purposes. If used on the records of actual consumers, those records cannot be restored.
WARNING! Once a consumer has been deleted, it is as though he or she never existed within AWARDS in ANY program, and his or her records cannot be restored; therefore, this feature must be used with caution.
Required Permissions
The Delete Consumer feature is available to users with the following permissions:
→ Chart Access - You must have chart access to the program associated with the consumer whose records are to be deleted.
→ Data Entry / Access - You must have the "Delete Consumer" permission in order to delete consumer records. You must also have the "Display Any Chart Records Buttons" and "Display Chart Records Intake/Admission Button" data entry/access permissions.
