All user access to the features and records within AWARDS is controlled by permissions (unless specifically noted otherwise).  Those permissions are broken into a hierarchy composed of layers.  Within each layer several distinct types of permissions can be assigned.  This portion of Online Help is designed to help you understand both of these key aspects of permissions - layers and types - as well as to provide you with a guide to what each individual permission is designed to do.
