What is the "Error Report" column in the AHAR's Individual Details showing?

When Individual Details are included while generating the AHAR, the "Error Report" column of data is designed to tell you two things.  First, if a client has not been joined to a household, this column will show "Missing Household ID."  This lets you know that you need to go to the Household Composition section of the face sheet and create a new household or join the person to an existing household.  This is a required step in HMIS projects, even for individuals (who are in a household by themselves).  Second, if the household "Start Date" is after the client's admission date, the Error Report column will show "Invalid Household Start Date."  The Household Start Date should be on or before the client's current admission date and should match the earliest admission date for the client.  Correcting these two errors will solve the vast majority of the problems that we see reported to the Help Desk.

Why does my AHAR reflect that I am "Missing Household Composition" for a client who is correct in a household?

Adults in a single person household whose gender is missing or specified as "Other" will be listed in the AHAR as "Missing Household Composition" because they can't be classified as either "Individual Adult Male" or "Individual Adult Female" as the  report requires.
